Job Title: Financial Planner and Mortgage & Protection Adviser
What I do: I help our clients to think through their financial goals and dreams and to explore what their journey could like. As a financial planner I have the privileged position of seeing many of these dreams come to fruition as a result of the planning journey we have been on. I also help look after the compliance function for the company making sure we are operating to the requirements set out but also maintaining our family company feel.
Brief Background: I am married with 3 children. I have spent most of my career in service industries starting in catering and then moving into estate agency. I enjoy travelling and even met my wife while on a church trip to Mongolia.
Favourite part of my Job: Getting to know new people and understanding what they are looking to achieve and then helping them fulfill that.
Outside Work: Trying to keep fit, mostly running and cycling and getting involved with our church. If I'm not doing that I'm probably eating with a gourmet burger right up the list!
Secret Skill: I got to grade 2 in piano and gave up because it was too difficult to manage alongside my middle school homework.
Childhero Hero: I think it was Teddy Sheringham at Spurs.
First Concert: I think it was Oasis at the old Wembley. It was an incredible experience.
